ABU diapers from ABUniverse are among the most recognizable designs in the adult diaper community. ABUniverse, usually shortened to ABU, is one of the most recognizable brands in the adult diaper community. It recently marked its tenth birthday and is unusually community-focused: the company says its whole team is AB/DL and that the community comes first.
The diapers
ABU organizes its range by tape type:
- 4-tape: PeekABU, LittlePawz, Little Kings, AlphaGatorZ, DinoRawrZ, Simple Ultra and Oops All Huskies.
- Hook-and-loop: BunnyHopps 4-Tape, Little Kings and AlphaGatorZ.
- Positional prints: Little Kings, AlphaGatorZ and TinyTails, where the design is placed on specific parts of the diaper.
Its newest release, Simple Daytime, is aimed at lighter daytime wear.

Beyond diapers
ABU sells PowerUps booster pads, DiaperSuit onesies, stickers, pins and other merchandise, and runs community events, including recent meetups in Boston.
Service promises
ABU publicly commits to making problems right, responding to all communication, and shipping logically and discreetly. It also announced a diaper price drop this year.
Who it’s for
Wearers who value thick, printed 4-tape diapers and a brand that is openly part of the community.
Before you order: Check the brand’s size chart against your own waist and hip measurements rather than assuming your usual size, because sizing varies between makers. If a sample or trial pack is offered, try one in the situation you’ll actually use it, such as overnight, and note fit, comfort, noise and any leaks. Compare the price per diaper, not just the price per bag, and look at shipping costs and whether packaging is plain if privacy matters to you. Finally, read the return policy before you buy, since opened hygiene products usually can’t be sent back.
Getting the most from any brand: Start with the smallest pack available until you’re sure about fit and comfort. Write down your measurements and the size you chose so reordering is easy. If the brand sells boosters or covers, consider them for overnight use. Watch for case discounts, subscriptions and seasonal sales once you’ve found a favorite, and sign up for the brand’s newsletter for restock alerts. If anything arrives damaged or wrong, contact customer service promptly with photos of the packaging.
