Brand Spotlight: Tykables

Green, white and yellow fabric with a playful cartoon car print

Tykables diapers come in both plastic-backed and cloth-backed lines under one brand. Tykables describes itself as serving two audiences at once: adults living with urinary incontinence and the ABDL community. It sells diapers alongside a large clothing line, and its product names are memorable.

Two backings, two feels

  • Toddler Tough Plastic: Tykables’ plastic-backed line, including Waddlin, Overnights, Unicorns, Puppers and Camelot.
  • Cuddle Cloth: its cloth-backed line, including Animooz, Potty Monsters and Soggers.

Tykables also carries the NRU family (Sprogs, Stompers, Little Rascals, Tinimals and the plain Str8up range in white, blue, pink and black) and an everyday option, Little Builders.

Design features

The brand promotes its “Waddle Cut” shape and “Active Littles Grips,” both aimed at fit and staying in place when you move.

Extras

Dubblers booster pads, Step-Ins training-pant style products, a Build-a-Case option to mix products, a Big Littles Diaper Box subscription, and clothing such as Snappies onesies, shortalls and sleepers.

Who it’s for

Tykables suits wearers who want the choice of plastic or cloth backing within one brand and like to mix products in a single case.

Before you order: Check the brand’s size chart against your own waist and hip measurements rather than assuming your usual size, because sizing varies between makers. If a sample or trial pack is offered, try one in the situation you’ll actually use it, such as overnight, and note fit, comfort, noise and any leaks. Compare the price per diaper, not just the price per bag, and look at shipping costs and whether packaging is plain if privacy matters to you. Finally, read the return policy before you buy, since opened hygiene products usually can’t be sent back.

Getting the most from any brand: Start with the smallest pack available until you’re sure about fit and comfort. Write down your measurements and the size you chose so reordering is easy. If the brand sells boosters or covers, consider them for overnight use. Watch for case discounts, subscriptions and seasonal sales once you’ve found a favorite, and sign up for the brand’s newsletter for restock alerts. If anything arrives damaged or wrong, contact customer service promptly with photos of the packaging.
